Kite JournalSunday October 19th, 2014Suburbanpipe dreams in the countryI had a chance to have a little short line urban session today after dinner. The wind was up and Morgan was playing In the playground so it all just seemed to fit. The wind was a little shifty and it was a struggle at times but I got to fly a bit and I would have to call this my first urban flying as I was not out in a field or on a beach. There will be more of this for sure, ![]() ![]() There was a brief project on the sewing machine early today to make a little tail for an upcoming school costume. It was done in no time but I definitly enjoyed getting some sewing in. Hopefully I will get to working on my foil or a new Spike or the catch up on the projects I am behind on with the worldwide kite workshop of led by Martin Blias soon. There is a turtle and a penguin just waiting to be cut and sewn sitting on the craft bench, ![]() Oh, and the luminescent wire from Hong Kong arrived today, they should work great on practically any kite, we shall see. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
