one cold one flu

The One Sky One World Celebration was today but we could not quite make it to the field. The cold and flu season has been making the circles through our household and it turned out to be more of a recovery day than a day at the kite field.

iFlites were flown, and the little purple octopus got a little repair, fabric was hot cut and there was a little sewing on the iFlite case, so that will have to do for this year's celebration.

Oh, and there were refreshements!

The center bridle line had pulled free from the little purple octopus, not the big one thank goodness.

I tried to bolster the threading between the two fabrics and then used a needle to thread the bridle line through the two pieces and around the cord that the fabric is attached.

Finally a nice tiny knot needed to be tied which took a try or two. All is good now and it's ready for the show next weekend. Cannot wait!
