Kite JournalThursday September 19th, 2013Good Sun Risinghoping for a crabby dayThere was a beautiful sky this morning as the sun rose over our little North Central Florida town and Kelli stopped to get this picture as she drove in.  Photo by Kelli. Used with permission. It's already been a pretty good day! And now UPS says: "On Vehicle For Delivery Today", sweet! What is it we're waiting on? It's one of the fun ones, I can tell you that much. After an iFlite Thursday last week another fun package is heading our way. This week's fun is coming from Gomberg Kites. I couldn't help it, what can I say. So, it's a Gomberg Watch! A Blue Mini Peter Lynn Crab has been scurring sideways for about a week now and should be completing its eight-legged trek any minute now. This little guy, well, this ten foot guy, is one we have been wanting for a long time and I can't wait to figure out just how to fly the little sea creature. The crab is fairly new compared to say the Octopus and the other Peter Lynn show kites, but it has been out for a few years now. It's new to us and I haven't seen one in person before. So opening the box is going to be great fun. You can come see it next month if you want because he (or she) is headed for a weekend of flying on Treasure Island October 19th and 20th.
