but still it's all magic

Another trip to the kite field in an attempt to fill the Dragon ends without ever getting the creature out of the bag. But a kite still made it into the air and it was a nice sky at sunset to boot.

After a few weeks of almost constant wind everything changed last week as the heat of Summer began to show up and the air became downright still. Making tonight's attempt the 4th in as many days. It has been out of the bag three times on two different fields and our front yard but still has not had enough breeze to fill it's wings.

The flow-tail was the only kite that could fly today with the light breeze and it glowed orange in the light of the setting sun making the trip the the filed well worth it.

The outlook for the next few days seems as marginal as the last few but the first chance there is a breeze available we will be there!
