Kite JournalFriday June 14th, 2013Happy Flag Day Fridaywave em if ya got emI hope everyone is enjoying their Flag Day Friday as it waves and ripples on past. I tell you time has been speeding up for a while now and it has reached such a pace that it's hard to believe it not still yesterday. But it's not yesterday, it's practically tomorrow already! Ok, I'm getting a bit wacky here, but mostly that is due to the fact that it's time to head to the beach and hang with the family. Our yearly trek to the gulf coast of Florida for fun and relaxation. What a year this has been. The last twelve months passed in rapid succession and along the way we gathered quite a few more kites. I am hoping to get most of them in the air at one time or another this week with a good chunk of time spent just Reving. So here we go! Now my journal has been quite quiet lately, but that stops here and now. My learning curve with the new virtual private server has peaked and it should be smooth going from here. Plans are set and actions are proceeding. Windstock has not yet been moved to the new server but development and production has and everything is falling into place perfectly. I will probabably move this site early in July but there's no rush as long as I have things moved before this hosting account expires in August. So enough website talk, but I will definitely let you know when things have moved over. So, what to talk about then ... hmmm ... oh my there is so much ... First off we are heading down to the Gumby Kite Fly happening on Sunday on the wonderful treasure Island. It should be a smaller show than Kiteoberfest or the TI Yearly Festivals, but we are excited nonetheless. The good people of Tampa Bay Kiting put on a good show and it will be fun hang out with the local crowd there. There's lots more to talk about but for now this will have to do as there's a bit of preparation that needs to occur. Happy Friday Everyone! North Redington Beach Here We Come! |
