Lightly waxed with a twist

Another day closer to the festival, wow. Time is rippin along.

In an effort to prepare I ordered some line from Goodwinds. They have a huge selection and very good prices. I picked up 500 ft each of the one, two, and three hundred pound line. Also, I picked up two different types of Ine for the iFlites, thirty pound spectra and twenty pound Dacron..

Turns out I need some five hundred pound line as well, so I ordered some today, and then some more hundred pound line just to be sure everything is covered. Add to that, three large sand anchors ordered through g-kites, and that about does it. I could use some halo reels I suppose, but I might just bag some of the line, instead of putting it on a winder. We shall see.

The new iFlite lines are fun. I have been flying with spectra fishing line lately, and this new line has a nicer feel. It will be interesting to see which line performs best.
