2013 Treasure Island Kite Festival This was the sixteenth time the Treasure Island Kite Festival has been presented. It is held every year on the beach behind the Thunderbird and Bilmar Hotels, with the Thunderbid as the official headquarters. The address for the festival is: 10700 Gulf Boulevard Treasure Island, FL 33706 The Festival is presented by Tampa Bay Kiting and the Windworks Kite Shop.
